Safety Management: Ensure all MEP works comply with local health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and project safety policies, promoting a safe working culture on site.
Testing & Commissioning (T&C): Oversee all pre-commissioning, testing, and commissioning activities for MEP systems to ensure they function as intended.
Assist in managing the authority approval processes for all MEP-related services, liaising with relevant local authorities to obtain necessary permits and no-objection certificates.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues, design conflicts, and construction challenges that arise during the execution phase in a timely manner to prevent delays in the fast-track environment.
Facilitate pre bid meetings with contractors and ensure clarity on queries generated.
Handover: Coordinate the final inspections, snagging, de-snagging, and project close-out processes, including the preparation of handover documentation and final authority approvals.
Progress & Cost Monitoring: Monitor project progress against the master schedule and budget, track material consumption, and report any potential delays or cost overruns to senior management.
Site Supervision & Execution: Lead and supervise on-site MEP installation activities, ensuring all works are executed in strict accordance with approved shop drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for MEP matters, liaising effectively with clients, consultants, architects, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC): Implement and enforce stringent QA/QC procedures, conduct regular site inspections, and verify the workmanship of subcontractors and suppliers.
Reporting & Record Keeping: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily/weekly/monthly progress reports, inspection requests (WIR), material inspection requests (MIR), non-conformance reports (NCR), and as-built drawings.
Coordination with all consultants, ensuring a unified response to the Clients vision, program, and standards.
Provide technical support to the tendering and procurement teams, reviewing supplier quotations, and evaluating subcontractor technical proposals.
Design Monitoring & Validation: Proactively monitor and review MEP designs, calculations, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.), and local Abu Dhabi authority regulations. Coordinate MEP design integration with architectural, structural, and civil teams to resolve design clashes and ensure a seamless project integration.

Proven MEP management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in project management software, design coordination tools and AutoCAD,
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification is preferred.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
UAE/regional construction experience is important
8+ years of MEP management experience in large scale commercial construction and refurbishment projects
Extensive knowledge of MEP systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning, and familiarity with relevant international and local UAE codes and regulations.
