Business Modelling & Pricing Officer
Rolls-Royce
Designs and manufactures power and propulsion systems for aerospace, marine, defence and energy sectors.
Develop broad business knowledge, review existing contracts, support negotiation and price proposals, and create cost forecasts for defense engine programs.
Support the development of a cost forecast across multiple functions (e.g. Commercial, Customer Business, Services Capability teams) for win/won business. Construct inputs to business models and provide expertise for the wider organisation on business modelling.
Support Long Term Contract reviews to ascertain profit on contracts, obtaining information from multiple functions and coordinating the information to forecast future profit.
Produce price proposals for new contracts, working with more experienced colleagues to become involved in price negotiations with the customer and auditors. Work with the customer, sales and programme teams to identify requirements and provide risk expertise.

Numerical, logical, able to work with large amounts of data, particularly using MS Excel, SAP, @Risk (Statistical Modeling Tools).
