Description

The Make Ready Technician maintains efficient operation of the property by clearing out and preparing vacant units for new residents. This includes completing move‑out and move‑in service tasks according to established checklists and supporting other maintenance and preventive projects as needed.

• Clear out and dispose of items left behind after move‑out.
• Complete make‑ready service according to move‑out checklist.
• Perform move‑in service requests per move‑in checklist.
• Inventory supplies and provide list to supervisor.
• Assist with preventive maintenance projects.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Service Director.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and respond to emergency calls.
• Follow all company policies, including safety and Fair Housing.

Requirements

We are hiring an experienced Make‑Ready Technician for Lincoln at Wolfchase Apartments in Cordova, TN. The ideal candidate has make‑ready experience, broad maintenance skills, strong attention to detail, and works well in a team; HVAC certification is a plus. The role requires frequent walking, standing, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lb, with occasional heavier loads. Employees must have good hand dexterity, eyesight, hearing, and be able to work both indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather conditions.

• Communicate positively with residents, vendors, and co‑workers.
• Minimum two years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• HVAC certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance may be required.
