Prepare and/or coordinate estimates for individual scopes or complete projects, including analyzing specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare estimates and preparing portions of contract proposal estimates, to include the determination of applicable project plans and specifications.

Maintain/create subcontractor/vendor bid list
Distribute and manage bid plans
Maintain excellent relationship with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve best pricing, delivery, and quality.
Ensure Bid documents are up to date.
Prepare preliminary cost estimates/budgets/schedules
Delivery of bids, proposals, and prequalification's to Owners
Lead detailed reviews of subcontractor's scope and price prior to award.
Prepare pricing pages for Bids
Manage WBE, DBE, SBE, and/or MBE goals during bid process when required by project
Solicit bid information from subs/partners/suppliers
Prepare accurate quantity surveys/take-offs

Requires Experience with Microsoft Office 365, in particular Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Requires Experience with Estimating Software, with preferred experience with HCSS/HeavyBid
Employee must be self-motivated and be able to work in a team environment.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and/or 4+ years' experience in heavy civil / transportation construction.
