- Construction observations, preparing field observation reports of construction activity, and witnessing critical tasks during construction.
- Project coordination and communication with construction managers, contractors, owners, construction inspectors, and permitting agencies.
- Writing technical reports, letters, project summaries, and emails.
- Supervising CAD designers and project coordination with other departments, professions, and agencies.
- Project management assistance on several types of land development projects including client coordination, contract negotiation, developing and maintaining project schedules, and maintaining project budgets.
- Supervising permit technicians and administration in completing permit applications and moving permit application process forward.

- Plan drafting experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
- EIT or willingness to obtain in first 6 months after hire.
- Prior internship or work experience in land development type projects.
- Must have an excellent driving record and have a valid driver’s license as driving is an essential part of the position.
- BS in Civil Engineering, completing BS program May 2025.
- Cross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects.
- Strong written and verbal skills are required.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook are preferred.
