Advise, assist, and occasionally directs drafting personnel of a lesser grade in performance of their assigned duties.
Review manufacturer's drawings and other discipline drawings and any existing plan drawings for physical interferences.
Communicate with the project engineer and other disciplines to resolve any design problems with the manufacturer's drawings or interferences.
Develop a complete set of construction drawings.
Check drawings for accuracy including dimensions, spelling, drafting standards, and completeness.
Develop engineering drawings for construction.
Exercise independent judgment by utilizing the correct design criteria based on knowledge from vendor data and project scope.
Assure the company quality assurance procedures are followed in completion of assigned tasks.
Review manufacturer's drawings and other discipline drawings and any existing plan drawings for physical interferences
Assure that anticipated problems in manufacture, assembly, installation and operation are resolved by the drawings produced.
Advise, assist, and directs drafting personnel of a lesser grade in performance of their assigned duties.

Associate Degree in one of the following fields of study: drafting, design, automation, electronics, mechatronics, engineering, GIS, other related field of study.
In lieu of an Assoc. Degree: Minimum 2 years' design experience or equivalent job-related experience in one of the following: design, construction, or electronics providing equivalent experience and knowledge.
PLS-CADD experience
Knowledge of construction standards, materials, and technical codes. Demonstrate the ability to produce complex engineering drawings in a 2D or 3D environment. Able to perform field site walkdowns.
Proficient in one or more of the following: GIS, design software, work management programs, and related systems required.
High School Diploma or GED. Min. of Assoc. Degree in one of the following fields of study: drafting, design, automation, electronics, mechatronics, engineering, GIS, other related field of study.
Valid driver license.
Knowledge of and ability to use Windows operating system, Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access) Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
