Maintenance of Fixed Asset group narratives and controls
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules and entries
Assist with development of ad hoc reporting and analysis. Analyses are likely to include analysis of trend data, interpretation of data and to provide recommendations
Maintain the fixed asset subledger, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals
Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in existing accounting processes and propose innovative solutions to streamline workflows, reduce redundancy, and enhance productivity.
Automation Implementation: Identify opportunities for process automation. Design, develop, and implement automated solutions using appropriate software tools, scripting languages, and accounting systems to increase efficiency and reduce manual efforts
Ensure adherence to GAAP and company policies regarding capitalization thresholds and depreciation methods

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including fixed asset accounting a plus
Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong PC skills
Ability to work closely with project managers to track capital project costs and ensure accurate accounting treatment
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Excellent professional, interpersonal, and communication skills
Thorough knowledge and application of Fixed Asset Accounting
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Strong analytical skills
Oracle experience a plus
