Additionally, the candidate must be capable of clear and concise verbal and written communication, have the ability to operate with moderate to minimal supervision and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor such as field investigations or assistance in construction oversight.
Experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus.
Candidate should have relevant coursework or experience, including hydraulics, hydrology, and basic engineering fundamentals, as well as knowledge of and experience with current design specifications and standards. Candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, self-motivated, flexible, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and have availability to work 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday).
Candidate should be enrolled and completed at least two years in an accredited civil or environmental engineering program working towards completing a bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or water resources related engineering.
A successful candidate must be able to follow proper procedures, perform accurate computations, and maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc.
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Massachusetts Wage Transparency Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $21.09-$35.22.
