This role combines new business development with account management, and will involve both phone-based and field sales activity, including attending client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver successful campaigns and event partnerships.
- Represent the company professionally at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and report key sales metrics (revenue, performance, retention, etc.).
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships focused on trust, retention, and account growth.
- Identify growth opportunities and create tailored sales strategies for your client base.
- Proactively develop new B2B client relationships through field and phone-based sales.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and key industry players to spot new opportunities.

We’re seeking a confident and target-driven Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to manage and grow revenue across an exciting portfolio of Events, Digital Platforms, and Magazines.
- Experience in events or sponsorship sales is preferred but not essential — enthusiasm and commercial drive are key.
- Proven success in B2B or field sales, ideally within media, advertising, or events.
- Natural relationship builder who thrives on creating and growing client partnerships.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Organised and strategic, with excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle across digital, media, and event solutions.
Benefits
OTE: £60,000 - £65,000 (uncapped)
Basic Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
