The Industrial Engineer is responsible for initiating changes to ensure the continuous improvement and optimization of our production methods, considering the human, economic and technical aspects of our organization. The tasks related to the role of Industrial Engineer can be diverse and require initiative, originality, creativity, and an excellent ability to lead teams to achieve the expected results.

• Évaluer les pratiques de fabrication actuelles et identifier les pistes d’amélioration.
• Développer et implémenter de nouveaux plans d’implantation pour optimiser les flux et l’efficacité.
• Work at optimizing production and assist in solving technical and operational problems.
• Perform work process analysis
• Design layout and setup manufacturing workflow
• Plant Layout Modification by analyzing current plant layout and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure that all modifications comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Concevoir l’implantation et organiser le flux de fabrication.
• Réaliser des analyses de processus de travail.
• Anticipate future needs and make recommendations to the team on future improvements to be implemented.
• Participate in the implementation of New Manufacturing Equipment:
• Anticiper les besoins futurs et formuler des recommandations sur les améliorations à mettre en œuvre.
• Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement new plant layouts to optimize production flow and efficiency.

Requirements

Proficiency in English is required for this role as approximately 40% of the responsibilities involve regular communication with stakeholders based in the United States and Europe.

Formation et expérience

Willingness to travel as needed and ability to travel to USA

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering is a must.
• Diplôme de niveau licence ou supérieur en génie industriel (obligatoire).
• 1 à 3 ans d’expérience pertinente en milieu de production et en ingénierie industrielle.
• Veiller à la conformité de toutes les modifications aux normes de sécurité et aux réglementations en vigueur.
• Connaissance des méthodologies Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma et autres approches d’amélioration continue.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Maîtrise d’AutoCAD et des outils d’ingénierie pertinents.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Aptitudes relationnelles et communicationnelles efficaces.
• Optimiser les processus de production et contribuer à la résolution des problématiques techniques et opérationnelles.
• Disponibilité pour déplacements selon les besoins, y compris aux États-Unis.
• Excellente communication écrite et orale en français et en anglais.(Un niveau intermédiaire en anglais est requis.)
• Ability to manage change.
• Solides compétences en gestion de projet, avec la capacité de piloter plusieurs chantiers simultanément.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and industrial engineering.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
