Prepare reports and document project activities and data.
Confer with project managers during planning, design, and construction phases.
Assist with reviewing contractor submittals, shop drawings, and requests for information.
Assist with in-field review of the HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems for new construction and renovation projects.
During the internship program, interns will tour various construction job sites and gain exposure to the industry.
Read and review mechanical and electrical drawings.
Set up and help maintain project database files and records.
Assist with ensuring that all systems and equipment are functional tested.
Work alongside technical staff assisting with field observation work, preparing detailed field visit reports, and documenting project issues through resolution.

Previous intern or co-op experience in commissioning, energy audits, or other engineering functions preferred.
Must have reliable transportation to the office and project sites across the state.
A valid driver's license and good driving record required.
Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Occasional travel to job sites or offices in New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts required
Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Strong organizational skills.
