The role’s primary responsibilities include assembling Sycool units and non‑foam panel door and jamb assemblies according to defined processes, and completing final assembly of foam panel doors such as installing handles and hinges. The employee will also perform safe material‑handling procedures, manage inventory by maintaining Kanban levels, and adhere to the Munters Quality System by completing in‑process quality check sheets. Safety rules must be observed and enforced at all times.
Additional duties involve supporting various factory operations to keep workflow, schedules, and quality requirements on track, as well as keeping work areas clean and orderly. The employee will participate in meetings and work groups to train new staff, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and stay informed on new policies and developments. Other related tasks may be assigned as needed.
The position requires regular use of hand and power tools, assembly fixtures, and crane devices such as vacuum lifters, cranes and forklifts. Tasks include assembling sheet‑metal parts, installing electrical, gas and air‑conditioning equipment, testing equipment, loading finished products onto trucks, and completing quality‑assurance inspections and paperwork. The employee may also assist in on‑the‑job training of newer colleagues.
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required. Candidates must possess strong mechanical aptitude, be able to read mechanical and electrical blueprints, and proficiently use measuring devices and hand/power tools.
Mandatory training includes Munters corporate orientation, quality‑assurance and safety‑awareness programs, and Assembly II mechanics training. The role follows standard work schedules and may require overtime and weekend hours to meet production demands.
