The role involves planning, performing, and overseeing surveying work to deliver accurate, high‑quality outputs, coordinating projects, communicating with clients, and preparing survey documents and maps that meet professional standards and Pennsylvania licensure requirements.
The Surveyor will coordinate project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources; serve as the primary technical contact, providing regular updates to clients; conduct or supervise boundary, topographic, and construction surveys while ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance; review data and deliverables for quality, maintain documentation, support invoicing, and manage risk and compliance issues.
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field, preferably be licensed in Pennsylvania, have experience with various surveys, possess strong knowledge of surveying standards and laws, be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, and related software, demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, and have a valid driver’s license with willingness to travel.
The position is primarily office‑based, with occasional travel for field work or client site visits.
The Licensed Surveyor position is in the Operations department, reporting to the Senior Surveyor and/or Operations Manager, with a flexible location that includes remote work options.
