IT Manager

Description

• Oversee IT security best practices, including patching, endpoint protection, device management (MDM), and compliance controls.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, documentation, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Plan and execute IT projects, upgrades, and technology rollouts.
• Manage SaaS applications, identity management, and access provisioning (Okta, Google Workspace, M365, etc.).
• Monitor performance and drive improvements for helpdesk and internal support workflows.
• Lead daily IT operations across infrastructure, networking, systems, and end-user support.
• Manage IT vendors, service providers, contracts, and procurement.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to support internal tooling and technical initiatives.
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes and hardware lifecycle management.

Requirements

A fast-growing SaaS company, is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and optimize their internal IT operations. This role will oversee IT infrastructure, security, systems administration, and support, ensuring the organization's technology environment is secure, scalable, and efficient. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong SaaS environment experience and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams.

• Background working in a SaaS or cloud-first environment strongly preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities and communication skills.
• Understanding of IT security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO27001, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud systems, and SaaS administration.
• Project management certification or experience leading cross-functional tech initiatives.
• Experience scaling IT in a startup or high-growth organization.
• Familiarity with scripting or automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Ability to work onsite in NYC 2-3 days per week.
• 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience with tools such as Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, Jamf, Intune, Jira, or similar.
