Project Director

Description

As a Project Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering large-scale infrastructure programs across the transport, rail and civil sectors. You will oversee complex multi-disciplinary teams, manage client and stakeholder relationships, and ensure the successful commercial, safety and operational performance of major projects.

• Upon award, take full accountability for project delivery, governance and performance.
• Oversee program, budget, reporting and operational performance across all phases.
• Provide strong leadership across engineering, commercial, design and delivery teams.
• Drive safety, quality, environmental and risk management outcomes.
• Lead tender strategy, development and submissions for major infrastructure bids.
• Build and maintain high-trust relationships with clients, government, JV partners and contractors.
• Ensure excellence in project planning, procurement, construction and handover.

Requirements

Are you an experienced Project Director ready to lead some of Queensland’s most significant upcoming infrastructure works? We are seeking senior leaders for opportunities with a top tier contractor based in Brisbane. Initially working as part of the bids and tender team, with the expectation of delivering these projects through to completion upon award.

• Proven success managing major project tenders
• Exceptional stakeholder, commercial and risk management skills
• A track record of delivering projects safely, on time and within budget
• Strong leadership capability in high-performance project environments
