Water Resouces Engineer - Miami

• Utilize software tools (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, ICPR, ArcGIS) to model and simulate water systems, conducting impact analyses and risk assessments
• Prepare project reports, technical memoranda, and design documents, presenting findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate water resources solutions with civil engineering and environmental projects
• Support permitting processes by preparing documentation and liaising with regulatory agencies
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support for professional development
• Develop, review, and modify designs and plans for water resource infrastructure, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to design water resource management systems, including stormwater drainage, flood control, and erosion prevention
• Participate in site assessments, inspections, and field studies to gather data and monitor project progress

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing projects related to water resource management, including flood control, stormwater management, and water quality improvement. • EIT or PE in Florida
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential, as is the ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levels
• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• Ability to multi-task under rigid deadlines
