Senior Manager- Electrical Commissioning Services

Description

Responsible for leading, planning, supervising, and executing testing and commissioning activities across multiple EPC project sites. Ensures all electrical and C&I systems are tested, energized, commissioned, and handed over safely according to project specifications. Requires knowledge of HT/LT panels, MV/LV capacitors, motors, power/distribution transformers, switchyard systems, protection and metering, and electrical switchgear in power distribution.

• Manage commissioning activities across multiple sites.
• Lead commissioning engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and OEM representatives.
• Allocate resources based on site priorities.
• Conduct periodic site visits.
• Resolve high‑level technical issues.
• Finalize testing agencies.
• Prepare master commissioning plans and workflows.
• Define procedures, checklists, and documentation formats.
• Ensure availability of tools and testing kits.
• Review single‑line diagrams, protection schemes, I/O lists, and loop drawings.
• Coordinate with testing agency and planning teams.
• Perform relay testing (primary/secondary injection).
• Conduct breaker testing (ACB/VCB).
• Test UPS, DG, VFD, and DC systems.
• Coordinate with testing agency and OEM engineers.
• Interpret drawings and control schematics.

Requirements

• Electrical/C&I EPC project experience.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project and MS Office.
• Technical expertise in drawing interpretation, control philosophy, HT/LT systems, relay testing, PLC/DCS, loop testing, electrical safety, and EPC commissioning.
