The analyst plays a key role in transactional finance processes, continuous improvement initiatives, system and process enhancements, and operational reporting, while working closely with internal stakeholders to uphold strong governance, high‑quality service delivery, and finance education.
- Support development, implementation and continuous improvement of finance processes, policies, systems and procedures.
- Process customer payments, refunds and related transactions accurately and compliantly.
- Administer transactional controls, including daily and monthly reconciliations, identifying and resolving anomalies.
- Identify and implement improvements to finance processes and system functionality, including testing.
- Provide high‑quality support to internal and external stakeholders for finance transactions and services enquiries.
- Develop and deliver training and educational materials for finance functions and stakeholders.
- Prepare position papers, updates and reports on transactional issues, system challenges, trends and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in training, development and team support activities, assisting with peak workloads.
- Undertake ad‑hoc tasks and projects as directed by senior leaders.

We are recruiting a Finance Operations Analyst, preferably based in Port Macquarie but open to candidates across our operational footprint. The role supports effective finance transactions and services, ensuring accurate, efficient processing, controls, and reporting in line with legislation, policy, and procedures.
You are an adaptable, detail‑driven finance professional with high‑volume transactional experience, strong analytical ability, a customer‑focused mindset, and a passion for improving processes, systems, and reporting. You are highly organised, manage competing priorities, and engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Required qualification: Certificate IV in Business or equivalent capability.
- Demonstrated experience in high‑volume transactional or service‑based finance environments.
- Knowledge of financial transactions, operational reporting and internal controls.
- Experience delivering operational and customer service support in a finance context.
- Experience creating and delivering training materials for internal stakeholders.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem‑solving and prioritisation skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Office suite.
