The role’s primary responsibility is managing data and ensuring data integrity within the JD Edwards operating system for item masters across all branch plants. This includes creating new part numbers, maintaining existing records, and acting as the main point of contact for part‑number setup. The incumbent will also update safety stock, lead times, and stocking types as required.
Daily duties involve coordinating part information based on contracts and sales, entering, updating, and obsoleting part numbers and kit BOMs, and supporting production needs by responding to buyer requests. The position assists Sales Administrators with World Writers and data transfers, and prepares reports for the Inventory and Material Planning managers. It also compiles and maintains manual or computerized part‑number records such as GFM records. Other duties are assigned as needed.
Minimum qualifications are a high‑school diploma and at least two years of relevant experience. The work environment blends office‑based administrative tasks with occasional physical activity on production floors, including walking, standing, moderate lifting (up to 50 lb), and exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
