Senior Planner (P6)

Description

As the Senior Planner, you will play a critical role in the planning and execution of a high-profile pharmaceutical or data centre project (depending on your experience). Your expertise in utilising Primavera P6 software will be integral in creating, maintaining, and updating project schedules. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the project's success by optimising resource allocation, identifying potential risks, and providing strategic planning insights.

• Analyse project plans and schedules to proactively identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and optimisation opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices, process enhancements, and innovative planning methodologies.
• Monitor project progress, identify schedule deviations, and recommend corrective actions to ensure adherence to timelines.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior planning team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Participate in project meetings, offering expert insights on scheduling matters and collaborating with teams to solve challenges.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6, encompassing all project phases from inception to completion.
• Conduct scenario analysis and "what-if" assessments to evaluate the impact of schedule changes and propose alternatives when necessary.
• Could you collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and integrate them into the scheduling process?
• Please prepare regular progress reports, presentations, and visualisations to help project stakeholders communicate effectively.
