The Maintenance Manager works closely with the Community Manager and Assistant Manager to boost net operating income by maintaining the property’s interior and exterior to RPM standards while staying within budget. Prompt, safe, and efficient repairs also support resident retention.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), at least two years of multifamily maintenance experience, and a minimum of one year of supervisory experience (preferred). EPA certification is mandatory, and CPO certification is preferred; candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Office and hold a valid driver’s license.
The position involves frequent walking, standing, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as operating power tools, computers, and reading blueprints. Work is performed on-site, often outdoors and in confined or hazardous spaces, and compliance with OSHA and fire-safety codes is essential.
