Work alongside junior and senior level engineers to execute project deadlines.
Performs mathematical calculations and field checking of field data.
May also perform some office duties, including data reduction, field note reduction, calculations, data checks and staking computations using survey computer programs and AutoCAD.
Transform field collected electronic files into Autodesk Civil 3D (CAD) produced drawings.
Assist technical staff on day-to-day projects in their respective discipline.
Work with more senior staff to produce SUE, ALTA, Boundary, Topographic Surveys, As-Built drawings, maps, Specific Purpose Surveys, Plot plans and Subdivision Record
Will also work in the field on control, topographic surveys, and pipeline surveys as Instrument Man of a one, two or three-person field crew.

Basic understanding of AutoCAD preferred.
Possess solid problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work in a high-paced environment.
Reads and understands plans and specifications.
Be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Be able to carry up to forty pounds of equipment up flights of stairs.
Plats by using Autodesk Civil 3D (CAD).
Strong computer literacy, to include MS Office.
Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Interested or currently pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Land Surveying, Geomatics, CADD, Engineering Technologies.
Must have reliable transportation to the office/field.
