Candidates should have a college diploma in fire protection, electrical/electronic or equivalent experience (or be pursuing one), a Canadian Fire Alarm Association certification, ability to program basic micro‑processor operations, proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office, basic troubleshooting skills, strong technical communication, ability to lift 40 lb and work at heights, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer‑service orientation.

This unionized position offers an hourly rate of $27.72 for level 2 and $31.99 for level 3, with benefits administered through a local labor union under a collective bargaining agreement. Exceptional candidates may be considered beyond the stated range.
