  • Department Growth:Drive business growth through effective budget management, resource planning, and strategic development initiatives.

  • Technical Direction:Guide multidisciplinary teams using industry standards and best practices to solve complex project challenges and deliver high-quality results.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to recruit, retain, and develop high-end technical talent within a dynamic organization.
  • Proven project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple teams and deliverables.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License registered in the state of Virginia.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License registered in the state of Maryland and DC.
  • Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architectural engineering, or architecture.
  • Solid understanding of business strategies, with the ability to leverage business acumen to meet client needs and position services effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to develop, mentor, and grow team members.
  • 9+ years of experience in engineering, design, or related technical disciplines.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
