The Field Operation Technician plays a critical role in scaling Exodigo’s growth by operating patented carts and drones, identifying underground assets with a suite of sensors, resolving on‑site operational issues with R&D and managers, and documenting site information and reports in the company’s software while working with cutting‑edge technology that will transform construction, transportation and utility industries.
Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail, a passion for accuracy, flexible scheduling—including up to 100% domestic travel—and the physical stamina to stand, walk up to eight hours per day and handle night shifts. They must also be able to lift 20‑40 lb equipment, possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel up to four hours to job sites.
The ideal candidate brings at least two years of field‑operations experience, preferably in a startup, and can travel nationwide to urban and remote locations. A background in earth sciences, engineering, construction or utility mapping is highly desired, along with technical savviness to troubleshoot on‑site issues, excellent English skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a global team. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proactive problem‑solving, are essential, and certifications such as OSHA 10 or FAA Part 107 drone pilot are a plus.
Salary ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 and the role is open to candidates located near major US airports.
