Keeps most current copies of PLC programs, drive programs, Panelview programs, level measurements devices programs on Minneapolis’ common drive.
Responsible for the maintenance of all electrical shop equipment.
Installs, repairs, and/or replaces AC/DC motors and drives, motors, starters or relays
Keeps the department leader appraised of mechanical and electrical equipment conditions so that situations of major significance can be planned for to avoid major production downtime.
Instructs craftsmen in proper electrical installation and repair techniques as appropriate.
Routinely ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
Updates and keep electrical drawing current when changes occur.
Ensures that electrical spare parts information and inventories are maintained at appropriate levels.
Comply with all Lock-Tag-Try (LTT) procedures.
Use cleaning equipment or tools as necessary for housekeeping duties in accordance with all safety rules
Devises, fabricates, installs, tests, and repairs mechanical and electrical equipment and systems involving the movement of physical components in the manufacturing area.
Inspects electrical work in progress to ensure correct labor utilization and evaluate electrical training requirements.
Recommends electrical training and development of craftsmen in support of electrical power and control equipment.
Creates and maintains technical troubleshooting manuals by each machine to facilitate / share best practices with all craftsmen.
Partners with AM activity team members to achieve TPM goals across the plant.
Oversees shift activities, downtime, and shop with respect to electrical work request, downtime lists and assigned projects.
Installs repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, support structures, fiber-optic, line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts.
Fix and report all unsafe work conditions.
Maintains all implemented 5S improvements and ensures housekeeping expectations.
Notify member of Minneapolis Leadership Team in the case of any accident, near miss, or on-the-job injury.
Assisting engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems.
Mentor, coach and manage Maintenance apprentice employees.
Perform all TPM duties necessary to ensure the safety of the plant and drive to successful attainment of zero losses, zero defects, and zero injuries
Supports in-house and contracted electrical installations or repairs in the facility.
Installs, repairs, and upgrades components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area.
Makes timely and appropriate decisions when an emergency or breakdown occurs so that production interruption is minimized.
Safeguard self with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary for task
Maintains detailed documentation through all phases of development, testing and analysis.
Completes training plan based on qualifying test score.

Minimum of 4-year experience in a Maintenance team with relevant experience. Preferably as a Electrical or Multi-Trade Technician.
Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations
Proactive in the safety process and ensures that good safety habits are reinforced in craftsmen.
Active contributor to the PM Pillar.
Ability to routinely lift to 80 Lbs. with assistance
Demonstrated desire to have a positive impact on safety at the Minneapolis facility.
Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as directed by Maintenance Leader.
Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions
Walk/stand on concrete floor, as required during shift work lasting 8-12 hours
Demonstrated mechanical, electrical and controls aptitude. Strong troubleshooting skills in all areas.
Ability to work overtime as necessary
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Demonstrated quality and craftmanship and holds others accountable to this standard.
AutoCAD, SolidWorks experience is preferred.
Manufacturing Maintenance experience or completion of an Advanced Manufacturing program from an accredited school.
Ability to work from heights.
Ability to work in confined spaces.
