Regularly review and update training materials based on regulatory changes, internal feedback, and new construction technologies or practices.
Maintain accurate records of training attendance, certifications, evaluations, and expiration dates using company systems or LMS.
Facilitate structured craft training for laborers, equipment operators, foremen, and other field staff across disciplines such as grading, excavation, concrete, utilities, and heavy equipment.
Design and conduct comprehensive new hire orientation sessions that cover Kwest Group’s mission, safety culture, quality standards, and operational expectations.
Ensure training programs are compliant with OSHA, DOT, NCCER, and other relevant industry standards.
Lead engaging in-person and hands-on training sessions using a variety of instructional methods (e.g., presentations, field demos, videos, interactive discussions).
Coordinate with field supervisors, safety personnel, and subject matter experts to keep training content aligned with jobsite demands and regulatory requirements.
Monitor trends in construction workforce development and make recommendations for improvements in training strategies or delivery methods.
Serve as a liaison between field teams and leadership to identify emerging training needs.
Travel to project sites, sometimes overnight or out-of-state, is a regular part of the role.
Travel to various project locations and regional offices to ensure uniform training standards are delivered company wide.
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and field performance observations.

Certifications such as OSHA 500/510, NCCER Instructor, CPR/First Aid Trainer, or equivalent.
Ability to work independently and travel regularly to multiple locations.
Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, field craft skills, and training facilitation techniques.

Must wear appropriate PPE and follow all company and jobsite safety protocols.
Excellent presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, presentation tools, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
3+ years of experience in training, construction supervision, or workforce development in a civil construction or heavy industrial environment.
Must have knowledge of occupational hazards in construction field and standard safety practices. Must be able to pass the 30 Hour OSHA testing and First Aid/CPR requirements before starting work.
Experience delivering training in areas such as concrete work, trenching, excavation, heavy equipment operation, and/or utility installation.
Must complete and meet requirements under the physical demands of this job description through a pre-employment physical examination.
