Work with explosives and the blasting process to facilitate production.
Running a scaler or an excavator with scaler attachment to scale rock from mine walls.
Operating a face drill and/or roof bolter in an underground hard rock mine.
Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies
Operating a wheel loader in a confined space to muck headings and load haul trucks.
Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.

Night Shift
Ability to pick up on new tasks quickly.
At least one-year of proficient experience operating underground mining equipment – such as a face drill, scaler, roof bolter, or loader – is preferred.
Must pass pre-employment drug-screening.
Must be able to work underground and outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
Self-motivated - able to work without requiring close supervision.
Able to operate underground mining equipment with precision and excellence in a confined space.
Willing to work in an underground mining environment.
Willing to work with explosives and the blasting process – valid TN Explosive Handlers Card or Blasting Permit – or ability to obtain/renew those permits.
