- B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Science, Planning, Geography, Landscape Architecture, Urban & Regional Planning, or Natural and/or Cultural Resources Management or related field from an accredited university.
- Solid time management and follow-through skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on and manage multiple tasks/projects with tight deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
- Specific experience in electric transmission, transportation, renewables, and other similar markets is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are required to develop and maintain relationships.
- Experience with local government permitting, GIS mapping, environmental compliance, permitting, and agency consultations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- State and Local Environmental Permitting
- Proficient with GPS and excellent writing skills.
- Local and regional knowledge and relationships with existing clients is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years related professional experience (consulting experience highly preferred).
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate competence in the area of technical report writing related to technical reports and regulatory (Federal, State, local) permitting documents.
- Strong experience working with both private and public-sector clients.
- Strong experience working in the ArcGIS Pro environment.
