The Plant PCT Engineer is responsible for all electrical and instrumentation matters related to plant operability, maintenance, reliability, investments, technology improvements, and technical compliance.
- Integrate all PCT activities across the plant.
- Ensure sustainable and economical maintenance scope by reviewing technology and activities.
- Lead maintenance operations, oversee inspections, and enforce company and industry standards.
- Develop and implement asset strategies to improve efficiency and reduce routine maintenance costs.
- Perform root cause and DE analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Represent PCT in project tasks, supporting planning and execution during turn‑arounds and shut‑downs.
- Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation and records for the assigned area.
- Align PCT performance with plant goals for capacity, operability, economy, compliance, quality, safety, and environment.
- Plan and execute PCT maintenance and investment projects, managing technical, budget, timeline, and compliance responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with internal, external regulations, and company policies.
- Create, review, and adjust preventive maintenance schedules based on performance and best practices.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop PCT modifications and improvements in the plant.
- Troubleshoot PCT problems, modify maintenance plans, and initiate improvement projects to minimize failures.
