The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organization’s compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. The HSE Advisor will collaborate closely with management and employees to develop, implement, and maintain effective HSE policies and procedures.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting HSE initiatives
Work with internal teams to design and deliver training programs
Preparing reports, and identifying areas for improvement
Represent the organization in HSE audits, inspections, and meetings
Coordinate and participate in emergency response drills
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses
Provide guidance on HSE requirements, policies, and procedures
Conduct audits and inspections to identify hazards
Track HSE regulations, trends, and best practices
Monitor and report on HSE performance, compiling data
Implement our HSE management system and best practices
Assess risks, and apply necessary control measures
Implementing corrective and preventive actions

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar HSE Advisor
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A deep understanding of local health, safety, and environmental legislation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Minimum Cert IV in WHS/OHS or
Proven experience in implementing, and monitoring safety management systems
