Real estate developer specializing in residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties.
In this role you will maintain the reliability, performance, and security of Extell’s end‑user computing environment. You will resolve complex technical issues, deploy and maintain systems, and ensure a seamless experience for internal users. The position also involves mentoring junior team members, collaborating with other technology groups, and contributing to IT standards that support operational excellence.
Core responsibilities include troubleshooting advanced hardware, software, and connectivity problems, performing regular maintenance on desktops and laptops, and installing, configuring, and deploying new systems and business applications. You will manage tickets through Extell’s service management platform, conduct system imaging, backups, and data recovery, and collaborate with network and infrastructure teams on cross‑team issues. Documentation, vendor coordination, asset management, and enforcement of security policies are also key duties.
A typical day involves resolving escalated issues, updating end‑user devices, deploying systems for new hires, and following onboarding and off‑boarding processes. You will support video‑conferencing equipment, track inventory, mentor junior technicians, and ensure the desktop environment remains stable and secure. Participation in after‑hours or on‑call support, as well as advising on process improvements, is expected.
The ideal candidate is an experienced technical professional with a strong background in enterprise desktop support, especially Windows environments. You should excel at troubleshooting, system maintenance, and delivering polished support to employees and leadership. Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus, and you must be comfortable working onsite daily and participating in an on‑call rotation.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and have at least five years of desktop support experience. Required skills include advanced Windows troubleshooting, Active Directory and permission management, remote support tools, enterprise ticketing systems, and a solid understanding of network protocols and IT security fundamentals. Strong communication, documentation, and mentoring abilities are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with Extell’s network, infrastructure, and security teams.
