Issues and updates the Shipping Notice to the various parties involved and sends a separate set of shipping documents to the field
Prepares and issues specifications, Invitation to Bid, Negotiation documents, and Service Orders
Defines methods and means of Transportation in agreement with Project Procurement Manager
Contacts suppliers and coordinates pick-up operations, based on the loading/shipping plan for each shipment
Provides transport cost and man-hours estimation and reports, monitors budget vs. project execution
Plans and revises shipping strategy
Plans and supervises handling operations for “special items”
Defines and assigns to Forwarding Agents any shipments out of Service Orders
Issues or coordinates the issue of import-export documentation, together with the Administration Department when necessary
