The Project Engineer will be responsible for the technical aspects of solar projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety, while coordinating with engineering, construction and procurement teams to successfully deliver solar energy systems.

Develop and track project plans, including schedule and resource budget throughout the project duration.
Ensure project completion within allotted time and budget.
Attain project invoicing as per plan with the client.
Conduct site assessments for solar suitability, oversee design and engineering, and coordinate drawings with stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Obtain necessary permits and approvals (NOC) from authorities for design and field works.
Liaise with supply chain for procurement of materials and equipment, assist sourcing, negotiate, ensure timely delivery, and appoint subcontractors.
Manage and supervise installation works of solar energy systems on multiple projects, both in‑house and subcontracted.
Conduct site inspections, performance testing and commissioning of solar systems to meet authority requirements and ensure proper functionality.
Implement QA/QC procedures to ensure installations meet design standards and specifications.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
Maintain project documentation, including correspondence, drawings, specifications, reports, and submit regular progress reports to stakeholders and the project manager.
Troubleshoot technical issues during the project lifecycle and propose effective solutions.

Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Renewable Engineering, with 3‑4 years of project/site management experience on solar projects in commercial warehouses, factories or industrial buildings. Required knowledge includes project management, strong technical understanding of solar panels, inverters, batteries, electrical systems, local codes, safety standards and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
