Utilities Engineer

Description

The successful candidate will help ensure the reliable operation of site services while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and quality standards. This position plays a vital role in delivering utility engineering support across HVAC, clean utilities, and wider building services systems.

• Ensure reliable and compliant operation of all site utilities in line with pharmaceutical industry standards.
• Review and assess design documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee system maintenance activities to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
• Provide technical support for projects involving HVAC, clean utilities, and building services.
• Support the design, installation, and commissioning of utility systems across the site.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to support project and operational needs.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Utilities Engineer for a contract role to support the design, installation, commissioning, and ongoing management of essential utility systems within a cutting-edge pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in utilities, facilities, or building services engineering within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Process, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, clean utilities, and process support systems.
• Solid understanding of facility operations, safety requirements, and compliance standards.
