We are recruiting an experienced Product Investigations Engineer to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry.
Must have passion for excellence and drive to deliver in the face of obstacles and time Constraints
Significant interface with external groups including Transport Canada, as well as internal cross-functional teams including Investigation teams, Product Development, Office of the General Counsel, Technical Service Operations, and Customer Care
Ability to breakdown complex issues
Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a combined ME and EE degree from accredited university
Superior communication skills required with the ability to clearly communicate in written and verbal forms to internal and external agencies
Experience in Vehicle Safety, Federal Regulations, Product Development, or Customer Experience
Working knowledge of multiple automotive systems
Must be able to handle multiple assignments and meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining zero tolerance for mistakes
Must be willing and able to travel to the USA, without restrictions, effective on the start date
Minimum THREE (3) years of experience in cross-functional roles with increasing responsibility
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering, or other Technical degree (i.e. biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, etc.) from an accredited university
Valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record
