- Assist in the planning and design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems
- Support the preparation of utility service agreements and maintain tracking databases
- Maintain permitting logs and contribute to documentation for large-scale infrastructure projects
- Assist with review of contractor submittals and maintain documentation during construction phases
- Provide design support for small wastewater treatment facilities and lift stations
- Prepare permitting packages and respond to requests for additional information from regulatory agencies
- Collaborate with subconsultants to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables
- Develop and run hydraulic models for water and sewer systems, including static and extended period simulations
- Contribute to right-of-entry coordination and easement acquisition documentation

- Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with overtime as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
- Reliability and dependability
- Experience with hydraulic modeling software such as InfoWorks®, InfoWater®, WaterCAD®, or SewerCAD® is a plus
- Proficiency with AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and MS Office Suite is preferred
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with design standards and permitting requirements for public infrastructure projects
- 2+ years of experience in water/wastewater design, modeling, or construction
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Understanding of utility coordination and right-of-entry processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
