This position plays a critical role in building strong relationships, supporting product growth strategies, and driving revenue and market share. Working closely with the broader sales organisation, you will implement strategic business plans, deliver high-impact training, identify new opportunities, and support partners with the tools they need to ensure long-term success.
- Leverage strong financial understanding to support sustainable, profitable sales growth.
- Support partners in developing contractor sales plans and targeted strategies to expand VRF adoption.
- Develop annual action plans with partners.
- Train partners, distributors, builders, developers, engineers, contractors, and agencies on VRF and heat pump technology, system design, brand positioning, and best installation practices.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including training, logistics, marketing, and customer service — to support high-quality installations, maintain proper inventory levels, and ensure effective promotional activity.
- Achieve defined targets for sales, margins, and VRF market share across the region.
- Review distributor and contractor P&L, validate credit line reviews, and evaluate opportunity costs around margin, advertising, rebates, and concessions.
- Regularly communicate insights, opportunities, risks, and best practices to sales leadership and regional managers.
- Strengthen relationships that support efforts in driving product adoption and sales.
- Assess partner performance through data analysis and periodic business reviews.
- Develop, expand, and maintain a strong network of HVAC partners throughout Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada.

Business & Financial Acumen
This is a hybrid role that requires a strong field presence, typically two to three days per week visiting partners, distributors, builders, developers, engineers, contractors, and agencies.
Travel / Field Work: Approx. 2-3 days per week in the field
- Associate’s degree or higher required.
- Proven record of implementing successful business strategies with key accounts and implementing a ‘hunter’ mindset.
- Comfortable travelling up to 40% across the region.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and people skills.
- Minimum 5+ years of outside sales experience.
- HVAC experience strongly preferred, particularly with existing relationships across Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Solid understanding of VRF systems and ability to translate technical concepts to various audiences.
