Performs schedule-related critical path, adherence, resource, cost, and earned value reporting, as required on the project.
Anticipates potential risks and delays in the construction process including overlooked submittal packages, manufacturing delays, and unforeseen events.
Assists site management in formulating mitigation plans to correct scheduling problems.
Supports supervision through the monitoring and updating of the project schedule.
Ensures regular, timely communication/coordination with key project stakeholders from schedule development through schedule changes and project closure.
Develops schedule logic, constraints, realistic activity durations, and available manpower and resources.
Walks the project daily to monitor forecasted performance and progress.
Assesses the impact of design changes and schedule slippages and informs the project management team of all schedule updates.
Develops working schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long lead procurement items, and other critical project deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for the projects.
Collaborates with project Superintendent to develop and maintain construction schedules through Oracle Primavera Cloud per best practice scheduling procedures and processes while following department directives. This includes defining project activities, durations, and dependencies adhering to AACE recommended practices.
Works with the project team to develop project schedules using common CPM scheduling principles.
Performs regular project schedule analysis and identifies potential issues or delays. Generates reports to update the project management team on the progress and reports any adjustments made or needed to the schedule.
Collaborates with project teams to set up and maintain resources and cost-loaded project schedules across multiple projects, as and when required.
Performs schedule updates and meeting processes, gathers daily and weekly status updates from stakeholders, and verifies and resolves accurate status updates, out-of-sequence activities, and schedule changes.
Engages with the client as necessary, including discussing the project schedule, its milestones, and possible areas of concern during Owner meetings.
Collaborates with construction project teams on sequencing, a general understanding of means and methods, and applying those effects to the schedule.

Minimum 7-10 years of scheduling experience in the construction industry.
Ability to exercise creativity and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems.
Experience working in construction software and scheduling programs; Oracle Primavera Cloud and Oracle Primavera P6 are preferred.
Collaboration skills to be a team player who can work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.
Applies vast knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology and concepts to develop and maintain critical path logic networks; accumulates and accesses historical data to maintain realistic future planning and forecasting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the initiative to seek innovative solutions.
Basic knowledge of standard construction practices and project sequencing; vast knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology and concepts.
Proficient plan and specification reading, review, and interpretation skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Excellent knowledge of scheduling procedures and basic scheduling concepts, principles, and practices.
Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment.
