Description

This is a strategic role, acting as a No.2 to the Senior Commercial Manager, providing key commercial support across all project stages — from procurement and cost planning through to completion and final account.

• Work for a visionary developer known for redefining London’s design and build standards.
• Support the Senior Commercial Manager in delivering the project’s commercial objectives.
• Play a hands-on role in shaping one of North London’s most exciting developments.
• Oversee cost reporting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
• Work closely with design, technical, and site teams to align design ambition with cost efficiency.
• Drive value engineering and contribute to overall commercial strategy.
• Produce regular commercial and financial performance reports.
• Manage procurement, tendering, subcontractor packages, and change control.

Requirements

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a renowned, design-led residential developer recognised for delivering architecturally distinctive, high-quality homes across London’s most desirable postcodes.

• Proven ability to manage procurement, cost control, and subcontract administration.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and cost management software.
• Detail-driven, proactive, and confident, operating in a design-led, high-quality environment.
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline.
• Exposure to high-end, technically complex residential construction.
• Demonstrable experience in residential or mixed-use construction, ideally RC frame projects.
