Engineers will deliver professional civil engineering services, supervise technical staff, communicate regularly with supervisors and clients, and participate in meetings and public outreach. The position includes responsibilities for proposal preparation, business development, and may progress to Project Manager or Client Manager with budget and financial oversight. Travel, overtime during construction season, and adherence to company safety and ethical standards are required.
Candidates must hold a BS in Civil Engineering and either possess an MN or ND Professional Engineer license or be able to obtain one within 6‑12 months. Preferred qualifications include five or more years of highway/roadway design experience, familiarity with MNDOT/NDDOT processes, and proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation Connect. Strong communication, detail orientation, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are also required.
