

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories designs and manufactures products for power systems protection.
The role drives the execution of a comprehensive sales strategy to expand high‑value solutions, while coaching Sales Engineers and Senior Engineers to strengthen customer and channel partner relationships. It includes guiding pricing and commercial decisions, translating customer requirements into optimal SEL solutions, supporting regional leaders with forecast and sales targets, and providing market and competitor insights. Additional duties cover strategic account planning, executive‑level negotiations, development of sales tools, and championing SEL’s values and process‑improvement culture.
Candidates must hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) and bring at least ten years of power‑systems equipment sales success, demonstrated territory growth, and the ability to mentor others. Strong communication, travel flexibility, teamwork, and fluency in the local language are essential, with Mandarin fluency beneficial. Preferred credentials include an MBA or related master’s degree, hands‑on experience with SEL products in utility or industrial settings, and prior leadership experience.
