Is the leader in the Production Control Plan creation, working with the cross functional team and having the Pre-Launch Control Plan, Flow Chart and, DFMEA and PFMEA as input.
Conducts process and product audits before the launch and 90 days after the SOP to ensure conformance product production and to confirm operation metrics are met (scrap, FTQ).
Provides the quality interface between the organization and their customers during new products introduction, and pro-actively ensures that the customer needs and expectations are understood and satisfied. This include the complaints and GP12 findings manage process during the launch and 90 days after the SOP, putting in practice the preventive and corrective corresponding actions, through the 8D methodology and the update of the process’ documents when the root cause is the new product or process.
Gives support to manufacturing, analyzing the line rejects and directing the efforts to identify and implement projects to reduce PPM levels before the launch and 90 days after the SOP.
Gives monitoring to measurement equipment requests and gages for tests, in the PPAP execution
Engaging, directing, and supporting people to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system.
Maintain area clean and free of contaminants.
Identify and give adequate disposition to all chemical products which can contaminate the environment.
Report any activity that can put in risk my safety and environment.
Ensure the rights containers for disposition of dangerous residues (identifying containers and containers to prevent discharge)
Place the dangerous residues (gloves, cloths, etc.) in the assigned containers.
Follow up with the assigned SQE on supplier issues before the launch and 90 days after the SOP. Review and validate that supplier capacity meet with Customer demand.
Separate dangerous residues from the normal trash
Ensuring that the resources needed for the quality management system are available.
Ensure the project does not get transferred to production until the defined quality operational metrics are met.
