Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, graduation from a U.S. Naval Aircrew Candidate School or equivalent program, ability to pass Navy aviation physiology, water survival, and FAA Class II flight physical, and at least 500 hours of crew‑chief experience with a recent MV‑22/CMV‑22 qualification. A Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required; a bachelor’s degree, flight‑test coursework, and prior test experience are preferred.
The salary range is $95,000‑$131,000, with potential bonuses, sign‑on, relocation, and other incentive payments.
