Implement and manage all aspects of the supplier development, contracting and buy-to-pay processes, including proper risk management
Manage strategic purchasing initiatives and develop reporting materials (power point presentations, business cases, etc.)
Directly manage new and existing regional supplier relationships and leverage internal stakeholder/category relationships to enhance global supplier partnerships
Responsible for negotiating the business priorities of our stakeholders within the company that shape and define our North American strategy. Areas you could/will be engaged in are as follows: Business Services, Tooling, CAPEX, MRO, Digital/IT, EFM, Fleet
Be a point of escalation and resolution for scope-related supplier issues
Build supplier market intelligence and ensure that supply-base data is available to support business decisions
Close collaboration with key local and global stakeholders including construction, service org, HR, factories, project management, engineering, quality, legal and supply chain to optimize cost competitiveness

Previous experience building business cases or strategies (for a category, commodity, piece of the supply chain or for a business unit, etc.)
High-level business acumen (understanding of financial statements, cash flow, EBIT, inventory, etc.)
Advanced MS Excel (minimum of pivot tables, v-look up, etc.)
Advanced negotiation experience for supplier negotiations (Leading negotiation experience is preferred)
Ability to prioritize during urgent tasks
Proficient interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Contract management experience
Ability to effectively lead a cross functional team that may include internal, external, domestic and international stakeholders
Ability to work within a cross-functional team
Project management skills
