The Onsite Project Engineer supports the Project Manager and Superintendent by coordinating, executing, and documenting construction activities to ensure successful project delivery. Acting as the primary technical and administrative resource onsite, the engineer manages field‑to‑office communication, maintains project documentation, monitors progress, and oversees subcontractor coordination while upholding quality and safety standards. The role also assists with planning, procurement, and closeout to keep the project on schedule, within budget, and compliant with contractual requirements.

Applicants must have a minimum of three years’ experience in construction field engineering or project coordination with a general contractor. They should be proficient in reading and organizing plans and specifications, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable using project management software such as Procore, AutoDesk, or Bluebeam. Advanced Excel abilities, attention to detail, and a problem‑solving mindset are required, and experience with estimating or buyout processes on $5M+ projects is preferred.
