The Manufacturing Engineering internship supports the department in meeting manufacturing objectives and continuous‑improvement initiatives. Interns are expected to audit and update work instructions, routings, and bills of material, improve material‑handling methods, conduct time studies, develop fabrication and machining processes, analyze workstations or cells for productivity and quality, and provide technical assistance to production staff. Additional duties include contributing to fixture and tooling design, assisting with plant layout, learning ERP manufacturing software, and creating documentation for new product launches.
Candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical or a related engineering discipline with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preferred qualifications include exposure to Lean and 5S, experience with welding, machining or fabrication, and proficiency in 2D/3D CAD or 3D‑printing software.
The position offers a pay range of $18.00–$37.00, determined by experience, education and location, alongside a competitive total‑rewards package and opportunities for professional development.
