

Produces HVAC, fire, security and building automation systems to optimize and protect buildings globally.
Inspectors conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventive maintenance on electrical, sprinkler, and fire/life‑safety product lines, as well as comparable manufacturer products. They work with low‑voltage wiring and associated devices, complete service acknowledgments using laptops or hard copy, and follow a structured inspection schedule while archiving documentation.
The role requires documented experience with low‑voltage electrical systems; new hires will receive training. Candidates must be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and manuals, and be proficient with hand tools and multimeters. An aptitude for troubleshooting and making small repairs is essential.
Applicants need 5–10 years of experience in low‑voltage electrical and fire or life‑safety systems, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and the physical capability to lift 50–70 lb and work in challenging positions such as ladders, scaffolding, ducts, and crawl spaces. Flexible hours, including weekends, and willingness to travel overnight are required. A high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and successful completion of the Inspector Entrée Course (Electrical or Sprinkler) with NICET Level II certification are required; additional certifications are preferred.
