The Law Clerk will report directly to the Associate General Counsel and will be responsible for providing general corporate, commercial, real estate and transactional legal support.

Prepare and coordinate board materials for the board of directors and board committees
Arrange and coordinate meetings
Assist with providing required information and compliance reporting
Coordinate and assist with preparation and filing of annual corporate documentation
Maintain procedure guides for the corporate secretary’s office
Ensure a high standard of service and timely delivery of requested information
Provide support on various corporate transactions, as required
Coordinate with external counsel to facilitate real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and financings (secured and unsecured)
Provide general administrative support as required
Coordinate with external counsel in the management of litigation files
Maintain filing systems and chronology files
Maintain minute books and corporate records for public and private companies
Format and coordinate reports
Perform document management tasks
Respond to information requests from tax, finance, operations and other internal groups
Prepare and file securities, regulatory and corporate documents with government authorities
Coordinate and assist with shareholders’ and directors’ meetings
Prepare resolutions and related corporate documents

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
