Description

The Material Handler is responsible for handling, organizing, and distributing HVAC materials and equipment to support service and installation crews, while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety. The role also involves mentoring junior handlers and maintaining a clean, well‑organized warehouse environment.

• Pull, stage, and deliver HVAC materials for installations and service jobs
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Verify material counts and prepare jobs accurately
• Label, store, and organize materials properly
• Assist with inventory control, restocking, and shortage reporting
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certified)
• Collaborate with lead handler and field crews to meet job requirements
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
• Train and mentor Material Handler Levels 1 and 2
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments

Requirements

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of warehouse or material‑handling experience (preferably in HVAC or construction), forklift certification, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. They must be able to lift 50+ lb regularly, pass a pre‑employment drug test and background check, and demonstrate reliable, detail‑oriented teamwork skills.

• Forklift certification required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Able to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly
• Available to work early shift starting at 4:00 AM
• Strong communication, teamwork, and detail‑orientation
